Hi there, I’m Luka! I was born right here at Big Dog Ranch Rescue, and I’m currently living in a foster home while I wait for my forever family. I’m a sweet, gentle boy with a lot of love to give, but I can be a little shy at first. Once I trust you, though, I’m your loyal cuddle buddy and couch potato—65 pounds of pure lap dog! 🐾
I have a mild neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia, which means I can be a little clumsy and sometimes flinch when I’m startled. I might freeze up on walks or struggle with stairs, but I don’t let that slow me down—I always find my way with a little encouragement. This makes me unique, and I think it’s part of my charm! 💖
I love people and other dogs, but I do best in a home with older kids or just adults, since I’m still learning about my size and I can be a bit shy around loud noises. I’ve learned a lot—like using the restroom outside, sleeping in my crate, and even learning to sit! 🐶
I’m a low to moderate energy guy, and I love to play outside with other dogs. Short walks and a good game of tug-o-war are my favorite ways to get exercise.

This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
