Jake is a sweet guy looking for a forever home where he can finally settle down. Over the past 5 years of his life he has been bounced around from person to person looking for a home that will finally stick, and still he is searching. After being abandoned at a vet clinic Jake was brought to Furry Friends to find a home that will love him for who he is. He loves treats and will do just about anything for a yummy snack. He appreciates a person who can take things a bit slow with him so you can learn to trust before showing his true personality, fun, energetic, and so so sweet. His little snorts and funny quirks will bring smiles to your face each day.

Cats over 4 months -- $75 for one, $100 for two
Puppies under 4 months -- $300
Dogs over 4 months-- $100, $150 for two
Rabbits -- $50 for one, $80 for two
Guinea Pigs -- $15 for one, $25 for two
Rats, Mice, and Hamsters - $8.00 for one, $2 for any additional

The main caregiver and an adult in the family are required to be present and meet the animal to adopt. An application and signed contract is required, and homeownership or verification from a landlord that the pet is allowed is required. Dog adoptions require an introduction to all members of the family as well as any existing dogs.

Furry Friends seeks to assist all animals in need through a variety of programs. We are a group of passionate people who have created the first no- kill community in Iowa and hope to spread the no-kill mission through the rest of Iowa.
