My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marzia, the sweet princess in search of her forever home! This girl has been in foster since August 2024, and she has more than proven how great she is in a home. Marzia is a very playful and goofy medium-energy dog, and she loves playing with balls and stuffies. She's also a chew queen, and the first thing she does every morning is pick out a good bone to chew on while she patiently waits for her foster dad to get ready for her morning walk.

While she does love to play, Marzia is truly a couch potato at heart. Her favorite thing to do is cuddle with her people. She's incredibly affectionate and loving, and once Marzia knows you and trusts you, you're bonded for life. She's also a velcro dog that will follow you around the house, paying very close attention to your most boring everyday chores.

Marzia is super smart - she knows sit and stay, and recently mastered paw. She's treat motivated, a gentle treat taker, and eager to learn more. She's potty trained and crate trained - toss a tasty treat in her crate and she's a happy girl!

The ideal home for Marzia would be one where she is the one and only pet. She can be reactive to other dogs so she'd really thrive and be most comfortable in a home where the only thing she has to worry about is loving her people. She prefers going on walks during low traffic hours, but she's also happy to just play in the yard. Marzia can be a little nervous about strangers, but she has a routine for meeting new people that has proven very successful. Marzia loves routines - when she knows what to expect, she's so much much more comfortable. The unknown can be a little scary.

Marzia is such a special girl, and she would make an amazing companion in a home that's right for her. If you think your home may be a good fit for Marzia, please reach out!
