Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm Danny, a lovable 4-year-old pup with a heart as big as my playful spirit. Despite facing some challenges, I'm ready to show you just how resilient and loving I can be. I tend to be pretty social when it comes to other dogs - making friends comes naturally to me. But cats? Let's just say we're not the best match. However, with people, I'm a total sweetheart. I've got this endearing habit of acting like a big baby, craving attention and affection from my favorite humans. I was treated for the heartworm I came in with and have gotten all my shots and got something done called a neuter. I am as sweet as they come and desperately looking for a family to call my own!
Here is what Danny's foster had to say about him: Danny is a wonderful boy that thinks he is just a little lap dog. He had one accident in my home on the first night and never had one since. He was crated whenever I was out and has no issues. When he was out of the crate, he played with his stuffed toys and just relaxed on the couch next to me. He loves car rides but did need a little help getting in. He's a great walker on the leash once his initial excitement has calmed down. He is always down to explore. Overall, he is the perfect house guest and would make anyone, without cats, the perfect companion.
Now as CARE's 4ht longest term dog, Danny is desperately looking for his forever home as he is slowly declining in the shelter environment.
