Meet our most deserving pup-Sandy! This 3 year old girl has been in care since she was 10 months old looking for her forever home. Every year we keep saying it is going to be her year, but she fails to get the interest she deserves. She is the definition of house hippo. Sandy snuggly girl, who thinks she's a lap dog, who will happily hang at your feet while you work or move from one spot to another while you are at work. She is very smart cookie and knows several commands. She does well with submissive pups as she currently lives with a few, but would likely do best as an only dog. She can get over excited while on a leash so someone who can handle and redirect her with yummy treats! She is a perfect lady in the house as she is crate and house trained. She would even do well in an apartment or with a small yard. She has lived with small children before and is very gentle, but would likely need a little manner brush up. Someone with experience with pitties and their temperament would be ideal for this girly. We are looking for a foster or forever home where she can SHINE like the amazing girl we know she is!
