Meet Ruby, a spirited 4.5-month-old Rat/Fox Terrier mix weighing in at a delightful 13 pounds. Ruby and her five siblings found their way into our hearts, all needing a bit of extra care, including baths and attention to spots of missing fur on their feet. Despite their initial fears, Ruby was the first to open up and show her siblings that kindness was on the horizon.
Ruby is a ball of energy, always ready for a game of run and play with anyone who's up for the challenge. She's the first to the door, eager for outdoor adventures with her siblings and your dogs. Ruby's sweet face is just one of the many physical characteristics that make her absolutely lovable.
Ruby is a runner, full of high energy, but she knows how to run it off and then some. She dreams of a forever home where she can unleash her playful side with other dogs and her favorite humans. Whether it's a lively run or a cozy cuddle on the couch, Ruby is up for it all.
We're currently working on some basic commands like 'come' and 'sit,' and Ruby is proving to be a smart learner. However, her mischievous side comes out as she showcases her escape artist skills from her pen. But, let's be honest, her innocence is hard to resist!
Ruby may be a bit skittish at first, but with lots of love and attention, she warms up like a ray of sunshine. She's good with kids of all ages, making her a versatile addition to any family. While she might be cautious around big dogs initially, Ruby quickly warms up, ready to build friendships that last a lifetime.
