Meet Ryder! This beautiful Catahoula is on the lookout for her forever home. Ryder came to Animal House Shelter when her previous owner could no longer care for her, and she's ready to share her love with a new family. Ryder enjoys car rides and is both house- and crate-trained. She’s a champ when it comes to taking baths, having her ears cleaned, and walking on a leash. Trips to the vet are a breeze for this well-mannered girl. Best of all, Ryder gets along wonderfully with cats, kids, and other dogs, making her the perfect addition to any loving household. Could Ryder be the newest member of your family?
All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption.
An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.
Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.
Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown.
