Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you think lap dog status is only for the little dogs, think again! Bella is pretty sure that even though she’s currently tipping the scales at 80 plus pounds, someone’s lap is exactly where she belongs. And yes, she could stand to shed a few of those pounds, but one thing that will never change is how much love she has to give!
Bella was a previous PACC resident back in 2019. She has positive experience with kiddos, was housetrained in a prior home, loves to play ball, and was described by one former foster as friendly, sweet, well-behaved, and cuddly. They also said she has the cutest wiggle butt ever, and we can vouch for that too!!
Bella recently spent a bit of time in another foster home- here’s what her foster had to say:
“We loved having this giant wiggle-butt in our home. She easily put up with baths, though needed a bit of help getting into and out of the tub. She loves playing with toys, chewing on a rope toy, and chasing a tennis ball. She is equal parts both couch potato and walk enthusiast. She will climb on your couch and bed for cuddles if you let her! Housebreaking was not a concern at all, she went outside when prompted and had zero accidents. She has the softest ears, and her belly was made for petting. She has a good balance of play and chill, and just wants to be around you all day. When she gets excited, both her tail and her butt wiggle independently in the most endearing way. You should not pass her up!”
And here’s what one volunteer said about her:
“Bella is such a lovable, sweet marshmallow of a dog! She adores being with people and is friendly, easygoing, and calm. For a big girl, she gets around very well and enjoys going for walks. The best thing about this love bug is that she will back up into you and try to sit in your lap or lean against you with her entire weight. She loves to be touched and talked to and she`ll sit for hours while you pet her. And she has the softest tummy ever! This big beauty is definitely one of my favorites!”
Bella would make an excellent companion for someone looking for a couch potato to relax the days away with! She has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup, and mostly prefers other calm dogs like herself. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Bella today!!
