Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mom to Ace, Beau, Bella, Chloe, Cooper, Duke, Kodiak, and Ranger. Probably just short of a year old when she had her puppies; yep, she should not be a mom at this young age, but she rose to the challenge.
Jordan is a sweet 1 year old German Shepherd who has overcome a lot in her short life. Before we begin her journey let us tell you how amazing she is! Jordan has been a terrific mom to her 8 pups. Although she can play a little rough sometimes with them she is incredibly sweet as young as she is. Jordan is crate trained, leash trained, potty trained, sleeps well throughout the night. Jordan rides well in the car, loves kids, and is good with dogs and cats though she can be a bit overwhelming. Jordan knows basic commands and is super smart and friendly with everyone.
Jordan came from Twin Falls where she was found dumped in a field with her babies who at the time were only 3 weeks old. All in all everyone seemed healthy. But now the truth is being seen and her story told. The truth will always show up in the end. Taking Jordan in to be spayed we knew one of her teeth had broken. We just assumed it was already broken but finished breaking on something she chewed. So we asked vet to remove it. Upon the vet’s inspection, 4 more teeth were broken, well rather shattered. We were told that it was a pressure bite causing the tooth to be fractured multiple places. Only a hard bite with lots of pressure will cause this. Not chewing on anything or even rocks. We instantly learn right after that , that the pups have scares around the neck area as if hung by a snare wire. With that information we now know the pups were trying to be killed and Jordan was biting something metal to try to get loose and save them. She also has scars all over her legs. But none of this has stopped her from being an amazing mother and protecting her babies the way mothers should.
