My name is Maddie! I'm a calm girl who enjoys a nice quiet home but can handle the hustle & bustle of downtown walks. When I get really excited I'll do a happy dance and hop around for you! I take time to trust others in new situations, but once I trust you I can be confident. I LOVE other dogs, especially if they are friendly with me. I am crate-trained and housetrained. I don't have accidents when I'm taken out regularly. I am a snuggler and will sleep right next to you all night. I'm waiting for a loving home that will be patient with me as I settle in. If you are looking for a velcro dog, I'm your girl. It will take a little time for me to form a bond with you, but once it's there I'll be by your side!

If the pet is already spayed/neutered, and we're not waiting on a meet & greet or medical results to come back, the pet can go home TODAY!

Additional adoption info

VHS Adoption hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 12:00-6:00 pm Central Standard Time.

Our adoption fees are as follows:

Cats & kittens: $100
Dogs older than 6 months: $200
Puppies under 6 months: $250
Rabbits: $50

Dog and cat adoption fees include the animal's spay or neuter, nationally-registered microchip, and age-appropriate vaccinations.
