Cherry Lewis is a survivor with a zest for life! Saved from the euthanasia list at the last minute, she’s been thriving in her foster home and stealing hearts ever since. This playful girl absolutely loved experiencing the rare Blizzard in South Louisiana this year—it brought out her fun-loving personality even more!

Cherry Lewis is fantastic with other dogs and currently lives with several in her foster home. She’s strong, fast, and full of excitement, so she might accidentally knock over a small child during her joyful bursts of energy. But her true passion? Stuffies! Cherry Lewis adores her toys and can entertain herself for hours, happily tossing them around and showing off her playful spirit.

Adoption Requirements

You must be 18 years of age or older.

The adoption fee is $200.00 for dogs and $100 for cats and covers vaccinations and spay/neuter. Should you want to donate more, we will graciously accept it!

A securely fenced yard is required, unless otherwise approved.

You must fill out our online adoption application for cats or for dogs.

A background check will be conducted, this may include checking out your residence, inquiring with your veterinarian, etc.

All animals will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

You must uphold state laws.

You must sign and abide by our adoption contract.

You agree to provide lots of tender loving care.
