Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Duke’s an 80lb boy that is a little over half Siberian husky and Great Pyrenees and the rest are a bunch of different breeds. He is playful, super soft & snuggly, gentle giant of a teddy bear with a calm, but active demeanor.
Duke loves to give hugs and morning/night kisses, is fairly independent, keeps himself busy outside or at watch near a window — but finds you and gets “chatty” when he’s bored, ready for dinner or play time. He does need at least an hour or two a day of active interaction — a long walk, tossing a ball/toys or a large dog sibling to playing with!
He was rescued as he reached his “due out” date from a 6-month stay in an Utah shelter & has gained some much needed weight since. He’s kennel & house trained, knows basic commands like sit, shake, kisses and corrections, is cat & kid tested, gets along with other dogs well including little ones (his large stature may be intimidating at first but he’s respectful & nonreactive).
Duke is probably 1 t o 2 years old.
