My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Gracie, and I`m a beautiful female terrier mix who`s looking for a FOREVER home this time! You see, I was adopted as an adorable four month-old puppy last January (2024). Well, I was just recently brought back, and now I`m a grown-up adult dog. I thought that I had a forever home, but here I am again....just waiting for the right person to adopt me. I`m a very good girl and I love meeting new people! I watch lots of people walk by my kennel, and I`m hoping that one of them will pick me. If you already have a dog, please bring them to the shelter to meet me so that we can make sure that we get along! I`m already spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, so I`m ready to go. I would love to have lots of toys, a comfy bed, and a fenced-in yard to keep me safe! If you`ve got room in your heart and your home for a friendly pup who needs a family, please come meet me today! Every dog deserves a second chance, and I hope that you`re just the person to make my dreams come true!

More about this shelter

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
