Tripod Alert! He's ALWAYS completely happy with a huge smile, so please don't think his three legged status gets him down. Axel, an approx 2 year old, 47 lb Bulldog mix (best guess!), is one of THE HAPPIEST pups out there. This super affectionate mushball basks in human attention, and will spin in excitement when you arrive home (or wake up in the morning), giving out tons of kisses until he sneezes. Axel is the best sidekick who enjoys adventures - all he needs is a lift in and out of vehicles, and he's good to go. He's a great listener, is highly food-motivated, lives to please his family, and is very playful. He can be a little "mouthy" when he wants some love to play, so a home without small kids is best. He absolutely LOVES his canine foster sister and will kiss her until she's soaking wet, and he's particularly thrilled with smaller dogs and puppies. Axel will thrive in a home with minimal steps, as he cannot do full flights of stairs, but he's totally content sleeping downstairs while the rest of the family is sleeping upstairs. No cats. He is microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered, and has been treated for heartworm. His adoption fee is $600.

Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue is a rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of abused and neglected dogs across the country. Ollie's Angels does not determine whether a life is worth saving based on age, special needs, or physical condition. In our eyes, every animal deserves a second chance at life.

We believe that every dog, as well as every adopter, has a unique tale to tell. Our mission is to consider both the needs of our animals and their humans to find the best possible match for each life we save. Adopting a dog is a very emotional experience, and we are committed to treating all of our adopters with respect and kindness throughout the adoption process.

Our special foster program gives us the chance to get to know each dog on a personal level. This helps us to select the perfect home for each individual dog based on his/her needs and personality. Each and every animal we save is adopted into a safe and loving forever home where he/she will be a cherished member of the family. Prior to being placed in a new home, all of our animals receive the highest quality medical care, as well as being spayed/neutered, microchipped, and updated on vaccinations.
