Meet Bubba, a sweet 45-lb, 6-year-old French Bulldog. Bubba is a low-energy cuddle bug who loves to follow his person around. He's calm, rarely barks, and enjoys playing with chew toys. Bubba has shown great resilience recovering from IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). While he has some limitations with his back legs, he's made impressive progress with physical therapy. Bubba can navigate well but would do best in a home with minimal stairs. Bubba's cheerful spirit remains unbroken despite his challenges. He's mostly potty trained but may drip a little due to his condition; a diaper helps manage this. Bubba is crate trained and loves meeting new people. He gets along with other dogs after a slow introduction but prefers human company. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and laid-back companion, Bubba could be your perfect match. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
