Melly Moo came to P4P back in December of '23, nursing a litter of puppies, infected with heartworm disease, and unsure of her place in the world. Nowadays, this girl struts her stuff with confidence and poise, always holding her head up high!
This petite gal is all about spreading love and cheer, whether she's romping around with other dogs, enjoying the quiet company of cats, or goofing around with kiddos. Melly's got a bit of a free spirit and does things her own way, but when the day winds down, you can count on her finding her way to your lap for some well-deserved snuggles. She's also pro at car rides and- with her chill temperament- every road trip is a breeze! Melly's blend of independence and affection makes her not just a pet, but a beloved member of any family lucky enough to have her!

Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 21,000 cats and dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized in local area animal control facilities. Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they were lacking before.
