My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baldwin and Banjo, an inseparable bonded pair of rescue dogs whose resilient spirits triumphed over a harsh past. Discovered as strays alongside three other abandoned companions, Baldwin, a 20-pound, 3-4-year-old Chinese Crested, and Banjo, a lively 1.5-year-old, 14-pound Border Terrier, share a unique tale of survival and love.
Baldwin, the elder statesman of the duo, emerged from their ordeal with a heartwarming resilience. Despite once suffering from a dreadful skin condition and battling heartworms, Baldwin's spirit remained unbroken. Today, he stands as a beacon of affection, exuding warmth and love to everyone he encounters. As the natural leader of the pair, his gentle presence is a testament to the power of healing and the capacity for boundless love.
Banjo, the younger of the two, brings an effervescent energy to their bond. Weighing in at 14 pounds, this Border Terrier is a lively soul who thrives on human touch and cuddles. Although his past left him with a need for reassurance about his surroundings, Banjo's heart is as big as his curiosity. With a bit of patience and love, he transforms uncertainty into trust, showcasing the remarkable resilience that defines his spirit.
Both dogs are kennel trained and sleep together in one large kennel. They have been dog-friendly with proper introductions. While they are still on their journey to mastering house training, their progress reflects their determination to leave their past behind and embrace the promise of a brighter future.
Baldwin and Banjo, a testament to the transformative power of compassion, are not just a bonded pair; they are a heartwarming reminder of the extraordinary resilience that can emerge from the depths of adversity. Their story is one of hope, love, and the unbreakable bond that forms between those who have weathered life's storms together.
