Hi my name is Janina, I'm a sweet energetic girl looking for my forever home! My sister Egle and I were born in foster care here at West Suburban, and now that we are grown up we are looking for our forever home! The following is what my foster mom has to say about me,
"Janina is a super sweet and gentle girl who is a little shy at first. Once she is comfortable...she will be your best friend. But she will prefer to keep her distance from strangers and scary things. Though not a fan of being held, she will sit right next to you on the couch to enjoy a good hearty pet session...belly rubs and all. She will roll around to ensure you get every spot and you will be rewarded with purrs. She is a smaller girl, plucked right out of a cartoon with huge eyes, short legs, and a grumpy little face. She doesn't have much to say, but when she does, she does it with the cutest chirps. Her favorite game is anything that allows her to put her stellar hunting skills to use."

The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a volunteer-based, no-kill animal rescue that was founded in 1972 in the western suburbs of Chicago. WSHS now finds homes for more than 500 dogs and cats each year!
WSHS is 100% funded by individual, corporate, and private foundations donations, and has over 450 active volunteers! WSHS is caring for about 200 animals at any given time.
