My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Gracie! Will You Please Adopt Me? I Have Been Waiting For My Forever Home All of My Life!

Look at my sweet face and wagging tail! I'm an adorable, playful, and loving 8-month-old puppy with a heart full of hope. I’ve spent my whole life waiting for my forever home, dreaming of the day I can snuggle up with my very own family. I’m all for joining you on your adventures and getting cuddles.

My story began in a challenging place. I was born on a transport from a kill shelter where my momma was rescued, heading to Naperville. I was one of four puppies who survived that journey. While my Mama and all my siblings have found their forever homes, I'm still waiting for my chance. I go to adoption events every Saturday, hoping this will be the day I find my family, but so far, I've been overlooked.

I have so much love to give and a boundless energy that makes every day an exciting adventure. I get along wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and I would love nothing more than a home filled with laughter and playtime. I’m a little brindle mix, and my friends say I have a personality as beautiful as my coat.

I’ve worked hard on my basic obedience training and am ready to show you just how good of a girl I can be. I know how to heel on a leash, follow commands, and I’ve even mastered off-leash recall! Plus, I’m fully potty trained and well-socialized with both people and other dogs.

When you adopt me, you’ll also get a special one-on-one training session with my trainer to ensure I transition smoothly into your home. This way, you’ll know all my little quirks and how to keep up with my training. This is all included in my adoption fee!

My gentle, loving nature comes from my momma, and I hope to be just like her when I grow up. I promise to fill your home with endless joy, loyalty, and the best puppy kisses. Do you have room in your family for a little bundle of love like me?

I’m waiting with my paws crossed, hoping to find my forever family soon. Will you be the one to make my dreams come true?

Love,
Gracie

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
