My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ireland is a stunning 1 year old girl.  She has a gray tabby pattern but it is streaked with orange.  We've never seen one quite like her before!  Depending on who you ask, she is a dilute caliby  or dilute torbie.

Ireland is very affectionate and loving and would make an excellent family pet. She is playful and loves to interact with people.  She can often be found looking out the window, making sure she doesn't miss any of the action.  We have already had her spayed and vaccinated, so this beauty is ready to go to her forever family.

Applications for Ireland are available at www.chesed-rescue.org.  We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.

A message from Ireland’s Foster mom Jen:

“Where are our Bengal Cat lovers at? “
We have had her a little bit now and my Kitty experience would say she very likely is part Bengal.  Her personality is very much like a Bengal Cat.  If you are looking for an Independent, agile and very social talkative, chirpy girl, she is the one.   While she is super and affectionate, she is not a lap cat. Ireland was a superb little Mom to 4 gorgeous kittens who have all been adopted out.   She must have been very young because she only about a year old.   This sweet girl would do amazing in a home that is looking for an active cat.   She loves to be outside on the porch watching the birds and ducks in the lake. I often say it’s like having a small child in the house.   She communicates very will with her talkative chirps.  Her favorite time is the day is meal time.   We are feeding her a fresh protein in the morning and evening.   She is also on Stella and Chewy kibble during the day.   Ireland is living in a home with 2 other Cats and bonded very quickly with them.   We also have 4 Cavalier Spaniels that are not cat reactive and she does great with them.    We are looking for the absolute perfect home for this little Mamma.

Sincerely, FM Jen

More about this rescue

Chesed Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted animals. “Chesed” is often translated as “loving kindness”. Acts qualify as “chesed” when they are motivated by a spirit of generosity, not obligation.

Chesed is a small rescue, where we get to know each animal as an individual. Our placements focus on not just finding excellent homes, but excellent homes that are the right fit for each pet. Our adoption criteria is strict. We work hard to get these pets to safety, we donate many hours to their care, and will not settle for anything less that a great home for their future.

All of our pets are in foster homes, where they get used to being a loved house pet. If you are interested in saving lives and getting fuzzy snuggles, please apply to foster at www.chesed-rescue.org/fostering.

In addition to our adoption and education programs, we manage the Kobi center, which provides those less fortunate or those on a fixed income with necessary pet supplies, food and medications.
