My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable tabby is eagerly searching for his forever home! Meet Johnny Cats, a large 1-year-old male tabby with a heart as big as his paws. Johnny gets along wonderfully with other cats and would probably do just about anything for a tasty snack or two! This talkative, social boy thrives on attention and is looking for a home that will shower him with the love he truly deserves. Fully litter box trained and a stickler for cleanliness, Johnny keeps his area spick and span. Despite his classic tabby appearance, Johnny has a way of standing out in a crowd, whether it's through his attentive personality or his beckoning meow. Breakfast time is when Johnny's talkative nature shines, as it's his absolute favorite time of day. A good treat and an old-fashioned head scratch will go a long way for this sweet man. Johnny Cats is ready to fill your home with his lively spirit and affectionate charm, making every day brighter with his endearing presence!

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
