My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mittens is an approximately 1.5 year old male Pitbull mix. He was brought in as a stray at just 17.4 lbs and absolutely skeletal. Mittens is now feeling MUCH better and weighs around 35 lbs and is now looking for his forever home. Mittens has been around some dogs, he does get overstimulated at times and can be very rough with his playing with other dogs. He can be a little snappy about taking treats and for this and a few other reasons we recommend him being placed with a family with older or no children. His adoption fee is WAIVED! due to his length of stay and includes his neuter, microchip, negative heartworm test and vaccinations. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@kendallcountyil.gov, or stop by during our open business hours to meet Mittens and possibly adopt!
