My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Clover: A Tale of Transformation and Triumph

Clover’s story began in a darker place, but her journey has turned into one of hope and joy!
When Clover first arrived at our shelter, she was just a shell of the dog she was meant to be. Left in a kennel for far too long, she was neglected and underfed, which left her looking a lot smaller and weaker than she deserved. But that was just the beginning of her story. Little did we know that she was actually going to be one of the strongest dogs we’d had here at High Sierra Animal Rescue! With the love, care, and attention she found here, Clover began her incredible transformation. We chose the name Clover because of how lucky we were to have found her.
Fast forward to today, and this once-skinny pup is now a happy, healthy, and (adorably) chunky girl who knows what it means to be loved. Clover’s round belly and soft fur show just how far she’s come. She may be a little stubborn at times (who isn’t, right?) but she’s also a bundle of joy who LOVES her playtime, especially a good game of fetch. Whether she’s chasing after a ball or snuggling with you, Clover is always eager to show off her sweet, fun-loving nature.

Clover is proof that no matter where you start, you can always turn your life around. Her resilience and playful spirit will steal your heart, and she’s looking for a family that will continue to shower her with all the love she deserves. If you’re looking for a funny, affectionate, and utterly lovable companion, Clover is your girl!
Adopt Clover today and be part of her new chapter. She’s ready to fill your life with love, laughter, and good luck!
She knows sit, touch, come, and she knows her name. We’re working on drop/ drop it and soon we’re gonna try to practice shake.

Clover`s adoption fee is sponsored! Her adopter will not need to pay an adoption fee to take her home. We are so grateful to the Oltmann`s for this donation as well as her previous foster parent.

Age: 4 Years
Other Dogs: Not at this time. Clover will need time to decompress before interacting with other dogs.
Cats: with supervision and training we think that she could live with cats.
Kids: Yes! We think she will do well with kids and in a semi active to active home with seniors. She loved spending time with one of volunteers littles, they `had the best time with her.`
Weight: 45 pounds, she`s already gained 10 pounds with us but will need to gain a couple more.
