Portobella is the sweetest 2-year-old pittie mix! She is quite small for her breed, but she has some muscle and she is a very active dog! Portobello loves to greet us in the morning here at the shelter and loves to jump up to give us hugs! She is a very food-motivated pup, making training with her much easier! Portobella has shown some dog reactivity during her time with us, so we believe Portobella would do best in a home where she is the only animal. She is looking for a home that is serious about her training and can help her learn how to work through her reactivity. Portobella does love humans though! While Portobella is looking for a specific home without other animals, she is the most loving dog with people and hopes someone will give her a chance.
From her foster family: Portobella is the sweetest cutest goofball ever!! she has such a funny personality and all she wants is love and cuddles. She is a HUGE cuddle bug and loves to curl up on the couch with you!! She has lots and lots of energy and adores going on walks, runs, hikes, or doing anything out and about!! She is super food motivated and wants to please so badly and she is so attentive to voice commands which makes training easy!
If you would like to meet Portobella, please call us at (509) 332-3422 to schedule an appointment. You can also email us at staff@whitmanpets.org! Portobella is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all of her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $175.
