Meet Karly!

This stunning gal is a 1-year-old German shepherd mix, tipping the scales at around 50 pounds of pure delight! Karly is spayed, microchipped, and all caught up on her vaccinations and preventative!

Currently rocking the Paws Behind Bars program, Karly has mastered basic obedience, crate training, and potty training. She's a brainy pup with a heart of gold who absolutely adores people and friendly dogs over 30 pounds. As for cats? Let’s just say they’re a bit too intriguing for her taste, so a cat-free home is the way to go! A fenced yard is essential for her energy level and athletic abilities. She’d love a family with older kiddos to hang out with.

Remember, Karly is still very much a puppy at heart! She'll need a watchful eye, plenty of playtime, ongoing training, socialization, and mental challenges to keep her out of puppy mischief. Karly is bursting with love and can’t wait to find her forever family!

Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3), No Kill Rescue focusing on the adoption of homeless pets. We are also host to "PAWS BEHIND BARS" which is a basic obedience prison training program based out of Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in Oldham County, KY.
