My name is TRUDY - Paws Behind Bars Trained!

TRUDY is a 4 year old mini Australian shepherd mix female that weighs 22 lbs. She was first listed as "free to good home" by her family then found 2 weeks later running the streets. Now she is safe with us.

Trudy is a great size with a very easy to manage coat. But even at 4 years, she's got energy and is "begging" us to get the agility equipment out. She is quick and she is agile. She's even pretty good at entertaining herself with the right toy! With talent like this, we felt she'd be a great addition to our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Here she is being kept busy with obedience training. The basics have to come first before the fancy stuff. She's in her glory with all the new dog friends and new things to investigate. What we know for sure is that she can settle down and nap in your lap. We also know she's a talker.

Trudy's perfect family will be an active one. This little one can go all day long. She's the perfect size for someone who travels. We are leaning towards her being the kind of dog that just needs "her person" and not much else.
