Our good boy Jacques just took a weekend field trip to a foster home and we are excited to say that he did great! Jacques did well in a crate overnight, loved going for walks, playing chase and hanging out with the family. Jacques is a high-energy dog who does best when getting lots of exercise and enrichment, so if you are looking for a couch potato, he is not the dog for you. Jacques loves to run and play and adores interacting with his people. Jacques does great at bath time, belly rubs and giving kisses. He would be an amazing companion for an active owner/family (we recommend older children due to his size and activity level) who want a four-legged friend to share in their adventures. It`s been more than two months since Jacques came to the shelter, so it`s important to understand he will need time to adjust, feel `normal` in a home environment and get used to life out of the kennel. We know in the right home, with time, understanding and love, Jacques will be a loyal, loving and beloved companion. Are you the one for Jacques?
