Hi there! I'm Milo, a small dog with a big personality.
When you first meet me, and I'm just heading out for my walk, you'll think I'm a bundle of energy. But once you spend more than 5 minutes with me, you'll see a much calmer side. I walk nicely on leash, but I do get a little excited when I see other dogs and may pull a bit. Anyone lucky enough to know me always ends up smiling when we spend time together. I love playing one-on-one with another dog, but I prefer not to be part of a large group and I think I would be best living without another dog. I definitely am WAY TOO interested in cats, so I would do best in a home with no feline friends.
One of the wonderful volunteers here has taken me out a few times and says I'm a wonderful dog. Sometimes, I get a little excited when getting my harness on, but once we're out on the trails, I walk great. I love it when the wind blows and I can catch the scent of something in the breeze. I listen well and don't pull on the leash. I could walk for miles and enjoy every moment of the fresh air and smells.
I've also been really LUCKY to spend some time in a foster home, and they have great things to say about me! Despite my wiggly demeanor at the shelter, in a home, I'm actually more of a couch potato. I LOVE being in a home! I enjoy playing with plush toys while my foster takes videos (keep scrolling past my bio to see all the awesome videos)!
I do need to be supervised in a fenced yard. My foster home has a 6ft fence and my foster said I've never attempted to find a way out, but my foster mom is always in the yard with me. So why would I want to be anywhere else but with my people?!
I'm a very sweet little dog, and I'm looking for a family who can match my energy and give me the love and training I deserve. Come meet me, and let's see if we're a perfect match!
