Maisey is a super sweet cutie looking for her forever home! She enjoys playtime, more playtime, and also playtime. Don't worry, though, she still loves to snuggle up after a long day of running around! She would do best in a home without small children, but would be happy to share a home with older kiddos! Maisey would do best as the only pup in the home, and she seems a bit *too* interested in feline friends, so a home without kitties might be best. Maisey has a pink toy that is her prized possession and will be very proud to show it off to her future family! She's a smart girl that could benefit from some obedience training, like most pups here, but she's off to a great start as she already knows what "sit" and "down" mean! More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
