Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Independent, Adventurous, Observant
Meet Straychel Ray!
This sweet girl is still learning to trust humans but she is fascinated by everything her humans do. She likes likes hanging out in the same room as her people and she stares so intently into your eyes when you talk to her that you almost think she can understand you.
She absolutely loves to explore - she can be more reserved during the daytime, but Straychel Ray absolutely adores being out and about during the cover of night. The adventurer in her must explore and inspect everything that has changed throughout the day. She especially loves to play at night - she'll bat around her toys like a kitten and if her favorite one goes under the couch, she'll sit by sadly until one of her humans rescues it!
While she's adjusting to a new environment, Straychel Ray enjoys climbing to a higher vantage point to observe her humans from afar. A cat tower on the tall side, or maybe stairs she can hang out on would be great! Straychel Ray needs some time to warm up, but once she's comfortable she is mellow and accepts pets. You know what else she accepts? Treats! She'll come running for any treat with cheese and eat it right out of your hand. If you happen to enjoy singing, Straychel Ray wants to hear some tunes! She becomes transfixed when her foster's roommate sings to her.
After a few weeks of getting situated, Straychel Ray started napping near her fosters and her comfort level continues to grow every day. We truly believe that her personality will really shine through as she gets more comfortable and you'll find yourself falling in love with this attentive, playful and sweet girl!
A calm home environment would be best for Straychel Ray (with lots of windows to enjoy!), where she can get used to her surroundings and any other cats in the home at her own pace. Are you the perfectly patient human ready to let her relax into her true self? Contact APA! today to learn more and see if Straychel Ray is the feline for your home!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
