My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eclipse entered FFAA right before the total solar eclipse did! His good samaritan had cared for him for many months as an outside stray, but due to her daughters allergies could not bring him inside. She was worried for his health and firmly believed that he was going to make someone a great inside kitty. And now having known him for over 18 weeks, we agree with her 100%!

Eclipse is a big, solid and strong black cat. His stately presence and human-esque eyes bely his silly and playful nature -- he's a typical black cat who goofs off and is gregarious and friendly. He's recently taken to copying his friend Thyme and learned to drink from the running sink, but unlike other cats who make sure to stay out of the way of the stream of water, he will sit directly under it and get SOAKED while he drinks for minutes at a time.

He's apart of the unofficial welcome committee, lurking close to the door so he can greet whoever comes in. He's ready at all times to jump into your lap, and he easily doles out love nibbles.

Eclipse requests that potential adopters make sure to never look over the black cats -- just because they all look the same at first glance does not mean that they all don't have diverse and intriguing personalities that they are more than happy to share with anyone who comes looking.
