Artemis was found tied up at an intersection in the Bronx with a note:
"My name is Artemis, I'm 9 months old. My family ended up homeless & couldn't keep me. I'm playful, energetic and great with other dogs. My mom & sisters were sad to leave me. Please help me find a new home. Birthday June 19th, 2023. I'm sorry."

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a central building. Our rescue registration number with the State of NY is RR131. For logistical reasons, all of our foster homes are in Lewis and Jefferson Counties. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, we ask you to first fill out the adoption application, which can be found in the main menu. You do not need to live in Lewis or Jefferson county to adopt; we do adopt out of state (and to Canada as well!)
