My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Name: Parsley

*Age: 1.5 years

*Current Weight: 50 lbs

*Rescued from: South Carolina

*Adoption fee: $475

Meet Parsley, this 1.5 year old male pittie mix who is looking for his forever family.

Parsley is home body at his core, who is happiest around his people and pack. Whether it's keeping you company while you WFH or do yardwork outside, going for a walk in the neighborhood, accompanying you in the car while you run errands, or snuggling up on the couch at the end of the day (where cannot help but climb up right next to you) -- Parsley is up for it all, as long as he's with you.

Parsley enjoys being in the company of other dogs, whether it's running around the yard playing with his foster siblings then snuggling with them on the couch, or making new friends to play with at doggie daycare.

In Parsley's mind, there is no such thing as too many toys or too much food. He gets such enjoyment from gnawing on bones, chewing on squeaky toys, and chasing after balls in the yard. He is a healthy pup with a strong appetite. Parsley is very food motivated and has yet to find a food or treat he doesn't like.

A smart boy and a quick study, Parsley is eager to train and learn new tricks (which makes training him much easier for us humans). He has mastered most of the basics and walks well on a leash. Parsley is house trained and happily sleeps overnight in his crate, although he would prefer to snuggle in a bed with you, if he's allowed.

This affectionate boy gives the gentlest kisses and is such a wonderful cuddler, but be warned, this adorable pup will absolutely steal your favorite spot on the couch or in bed, in addition to stealing your heart!

Parsley would love to find his place with his forever family, in a calm house with a yard to spend time outdoors smelling all of the smells. He'd be happy to have another resident dog to pal around with, but he would honestly be just as happy being the center of attention.

Thinking of adopting your next best friend and want a young dog that already has a strong foundation that can be built upon... then Parsley is the pup for you!

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation.
