Animal Profile: Harvey is a 1.5 year old neutered male pit bull pointer mix who was rescued from Texas as a pup. Harvey does well with dogs and people, and has made a lot of strides in foster care. We look forward to finding his forever home. 

Foster Update: Harvey is a sweet, well mannered bully boy who loves a good snack and enjoys playing with toys. He is social and friendly with other dogs, and gets along great with the resident dogs in his foster home. We think Harvey would do well in a pack but could equally thrive as an only dog, provided he has a human companion to hike or play ball with, and then cuddle on the couch. Harvey has a good on and off switch; he's always down for adventure but doesn't need strenuous daily exercise for fulfillment. Harvey's been working hard on his manners and impulse control in foster care; he has taken well to loose leash walking and place command. He's also house and crate trained. Harvey is not exuberantly friendly meeting new people; he's more standoffish but not rude, and warms up quickly. 

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $350 which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and microchip with lifetime registration. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.
