We are still getting to know Rupp, but we know hes VERY friendly and playful. Hes loves humans and can be very affectionate. Rupp often chooses to relax in his crate, and he also rides really well in cars. With other dogs, he comes on a little strong, so hed do best with canine companions that like to play rough or wont be offended by that play style. We suspect that he might be able to live with cats in the future, after some serious decompression time. Older children would be best suitable for Rupp Rupp is currently living in boarding, which makes it very hard for him to attend adoption events and training sessions. He needs a long-term foster or foster-to-adopt home ASAP! Rupp is already neutered and vaccinated; the only vet care he needs is a microchip. SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

Saved by Fate is a dog rescue organization in Central Kentucky that specializes in pulling dogs at high risk of euthanasia from Kentucky shelters. SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area.
