Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
Rocky and his "National Park" themed siblings are up to date with vaccinations and ready for adoption! These sweet pups are living with their mom, Indy, in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin. The puppies were born on March 11 and surrendered to our rescue at five days old, when their owner could not keep them. Indiana/Indy is a sweet, fantastic, devoted mama who loves caring for and playing with her brood; Paddy's Paws is able to help spay her as soon as she is ready. Indy weighs around 28 pounds, and it is rumored that the dad of these pups was a larger dog.
Rocky is sweet like his mama. He is living with kids and other dogs in his foster home, and will love to continue his socializing with other dogs with either a sibling in his forever home, or through other socialization opportunities. In his foster home, he has been exposed to only positive experience and love, so he is a joyful, trusting pup. As he is a young puppy, Rocky requires an adopter with a flexible schedule to continue his house training and learning. Per our contract, he will also need to be neutered at six months of age and attend positive reinforcement based puppy socialization classes.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
