My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Great dog for someone who loves walking, hiking or running and is looking for a friend to join him or her in their life and adventures.  Cuervo is a 10 years old (going on 4) malonoi/shepherd mix who is healthy. He has a puppy like personality. and enjoys playing with toys and going on walks. We resceud Cuervo from the Dwney shelter on April 22, after he sat in jail for six weeks.  He did well in his behavior assessments with large dogs and is currently living with small dogs.  he is currently in a temporary foster home, we need a forever home NOW!    here is what his foster had to say about him:  Where are my Belgian Malinois lovers out there? Cuervo is the perfect companion for an active individual that can take him on daily walks, play fetch and tug of war, and who doesn't mind sharing the bed at night! Cuervo lives up to his breed in every way that a dog can. He's extremely adventurous and loves to explore on his long lead. His nose is always to the ground and his prey drive is on point. If you've got a ground squirrel or rat/mouse problem like we did, this dog will eliminate all of that for you! He's protective of his home and his person. He is living with small dogs and is doing well. He is respectful and friendly with them.  Inside of the yard and home, he is standoffish and wary of new people in the beginning, but quickly warms up. Outside of the house, this dog is the perfect guardian. This dog is the perfect shadow and while he may not be a big cuddler, he wants to be where you are, wherever you are. Cuervo stole the hearts of hundreds online during his 72 hour plea from the deadly Downey Shelter. Now, he's ready for his forever home.
