My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meeka was an owner surrender who came to our care when her previous owner (battling stage IV cancer) could no longer care for her.

Meeka is an active, healthy, freshly 2 years old German Shepherd/Husky mix with bright blue eyes. Described as active and energetic, Meeka is also super affectionate. She is housebroken and crate trained and great with other dogs, big or small. Her favorite games are playing fetch with/catching balls, chasing her doggy and human friends, and playing in the water. She LOVES splashing in our kiddy pools, and she is obsessed with the hose even more! Her first owner said that she travels well. She is smart with a large capacity for learning and eager to train with you!

If you are interested in one of our adoptable pets you can come by the Adoption Center and fill out an application, download one from our website, or submit a request to receive one by email. Once your application has been reviewed and approved we will have you and your potential new pet meet and greet. If you would like to adopt a dog we also ask that you bring along your current dogs to meet with them also!

If there are no reservations on either party, the adoption contract will be signed and you will get to take your new family member home.

All animals are spayed or neutered before adoption, have age appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Go meet their pets

All of our adoptable animals are available to be seen at the Faithful Friends Adoption Center located in Neosho, MO! We are open Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 12PM-6PM and Saturday & Sunday 10AM-4PM. We are closed to the public on Monday and Tuesday.

Please call in advance if you are driving from a distance to ensure that the animal you would like to adopt is still available!

The organization is comprised of volunteers who meet nearly weekly to organize events in order that we may serve the community successfully.
