Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Colton is a sweet Shih Tzu mix who came to us from a shelter in the south. He is a special boy who loves people and does well with dogs and cats. Colton loves a lap to lay on. He has had some trauma and can not be crated. He becomes very defensive. He also does not like to share his food with other dogs. Colton can be leash reactive. He would do best in a quiet home.
Adoption fee is $450

More about this rescue
Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.
PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
