My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jeff was rescued after being tied up and living under a building his whole life in Puerto Rico. Despite his very difficult beginnings, Jeff is one of the sweetest dogs in our program. He is great with every dog that comes to our property and enjoys being loved on by each visitor equally.

Jeff is presently in Puerto Rico, but will be flying to Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania on May 25 to stay in a foster home and will be available for meets.

Jeff loves to play with dogs, hike, relax, play with toys and swim in our pool. He is an all-around great dog! He would do well in a family or with a single person that’s looking for a buddy.

Jeff is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines, micro chipped, and on heartworm and flea and tick preventative. He was recently given a full dental also.

We fly your dog from PR to an airport close to adopter for pick up.

Luving paws is a 501-C3 (IRS) and a 1101.01 A2 (CRIPR) Organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs in Puerto Rico. We have been working for years saving abandoned, neglected and abused dogs on the island and finding them new forever homes.
Our Mission
Luving Paws provide a home environment and compassionate care for dogs who are lost, surrender, abandoned or homeless; while we vet, rehabilitate, nurtured them in a loving, enrichment space while healing from fear, physical or emotional trauma, mistreatment or loss of a caregiver and finally we place them into loving homes through adoption.

We promote and strengthen the human animal bond educating children and adults, we encourage the spay and neuter of companion animals.
