Meet Chumley, the dog who thinks every car is his Uber and every person is his new best friend!
This 1 year old, 45-pound brindle puppy is the epitome of a good boy, and he's got the energy and charm to prove it. Chumley is a social butterfly who adores playing with other dogs. In fact, if there’s a resident dog who loves to play, he is going to be their new BFF in no time.
Chumley is friendly. Be prepared for his enthusiastic greetings, which might involve some joyful jumps and paws-on-body moments. He can get overwhelmed if spending time around a lot of new people so it is important to pay attention to his signals.
He’s not just all play, though. Chumley's foster raves that he’s one of the nicest dogs they’ve ever had the pleasure of fostering. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and has never had an accident in the house. Leash manners? Well, he’s working on it, and he’d love your help to perfect his walk.
A quick note: Chumley's enthusiasm might be a bit much for cats, so he’s looking for a cat-free home. He also needs a quiet home in a quiet neighborhood so he does not get overstimulated.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
