My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoey is a beautiful one-year old female Dilute Calico kitty who was surrendered by her family on May 1, 2024 because they had a newborn infant in their home. Zoey was likely intimidated by the new arrival since she had been seeking 'hiding places' and was not longer a social kitty. Zoey had been in her home since she was a tiny kitten, so perhaps she was feeling displaced.

Zoey has a gray/pale orange/white short smooth coat in a dilute calico pattern, a long tail, and a pretty face with large golden eyes, a pink nose on her white muzzle, and long white whiskers.

This little sweetheart was understandably very shy for the first week or so that she was in our shelter, and she surely wondered what on earth happened to cause her to lose her home. Zoey is actually an affectionate young lady who loves attention.

Zoey was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on May 3, 2024. She weighs 6.6 lbs that day. Zoey was given booster vaccines on May 18, 2024.

Zoey will be spayed before being adopted by her new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized). She is tentatively scheduled to be spayed in late May 2024 and will be ready to find a loving home either through adoption or rescue.

UPDATE: Zoey was spayed on May 28, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 6.4 lbs that day.
