My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the 11 year old spunky grandpa that is Gus! This adorable lovebug was brought to HSCC after his owner passed away. Gus is hoping to find a new furever home where he can regale his new owner(s) with stories of his wonder-filled nine lives. Gus is very social and loves to be around people. Morning cleaning staff will allow Gus to free roam throughout HSCC. Without fail, he will find humans to brush into before settling himself onto the shelter manager's chair or the warm computer tower. Gus is a "depression cat". He can cure depression and make you smile. Although his eye is cloudy, he can still see and move around just fine, seeking out sadness and filling that dark hole with his kitty affections. Gus has a heart murmur and would do best in a calmer home. He would also prefer being the home's only cat (or at least having his own large, private space). Warning: Gus has been known to bat the snouts of curious canines who got too close. If you would like to give this charming guy and fun and loving home, come meet Gus! He will be in his favorite chair waiting to greet you.
