My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Logan the one year old - Olde English Bull Dog. He is super sweet and outgoing absolutely loves to play and enjoys his toys! He must have bully-strong toys because he shreds small fluffy toys. 😂 This boy loves his peanut butter and pumpkin! He does have a allergy to food with chicken so he is on dog food that consists of lamb and venison. He is on apoquil once a day which we will provide his first 30 day supply.

He is crate trained, but would much rather prefer to sleep on the bed with you and he most definitely thinks he is a lapdog. He usually is up at 7am on the dot for his morning potty. He gets along great with other dogs, but does not fully understand senior dogs, he wants to play with them and they just want to sleep so the idea household for him would be another dog with playful energy and a somewhat active lifestyle.

His nasal pallet is normal so he does not have any breathing issues, minus snoring from a long day. He does travel well in the car but should ride in a kennel when being in the car. No cats!!!!! He does good with children but he is so big and bully I don’t recommend small kids he could easily knock them over unintentionally. He loves to go for walks and he is a Bolter for the front door so a fenced yard is preferred and kenneling him before you leave is also Prefered.

Logan is currently being fostered in the white mountains of Arizona in Showlow, However he can be adopted in the valley. His foster mom  travels to the valley every other week.

We are NOT a first come first serve Rescue, we are looking for the best fit for Logan.  Logan is neutered up-to-date on his vaccines, micro chipped and housetrained.

If you would like to meet Logan and apply to adopt him you can email afpintake@gmail.com

Or contact 602-736-9523 Marcela who is his foster mom.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is as follows: once we find someone interested in one of our pets, we see first thing if they have any others in their home. If the interested adopters have no other animals, we will let them do a home trial to see if the animal is a good fit. Once the family decides it is a good fit, we come over, drop off the paperwork and complete a home check at the same time. Home checks are required for all our adoptions.

More about this rescue

Our Mission:
Our mission is to provide homes for the lost, forgotten, abused, e-listed and unwanted animals in Arizona.

We love saving dogs, we are a very small rescue with only 4 people running it. We save dogs from the e list, strays and we take owner surrenders. We love what we do. We have our animals with us in a foster environment not in boarding or kennels. A foster based environment helps with training, bonding, and for the dog to be socialized.

If you would like to see our website please go to: www.americasfreedompaws.com
