Buddha & Ebenezer- Bonded Male Pair, Unfixed/Intact
Intake: 1/3/22
Both Buddha and Ebenezer have been in a TWAR foster home for over a year. They have been exposed to children, and do wonderfully in a busy household. Both boys tolerate being held by gentle children, but do prefer to run around and have free-time exploring rather than being held. These boys are also very smart, and have learned basic tricks from their foster mom such as spin, touch, and sit up!
About Ebenezer- 1.5yo Tri-colored Crested-Ridgeback Male, Unfixed/Intact
Ebenezer was originally purchased from a pet store by one of our fosters. They decided to sign up to foster to find a buddy for Ebenezer. He is the fun, energetic one of the pair, and prefers to be running around, exploring, and having fun rather than being held and cuddled. He is great at communicating, and will often gently tug his foster mom’s shirt or stand at his enclosure when he wants to go back in. When it’s time to go back into his enclosure after free-time, Ebenezer will let his mom pick him up so well without any fuss. Ebenezer is the dominant male of the pair, and gets along perfectly with Buddha’s calm, timid demeanor.
About Buddha- 2-3yo Lemon Agouti with White, American Male, Unfixed/Intact
Buddha was surrendered to BBCR because his original owner wanted him to find a cage mate. We were very lucky that Buddha and Ebenezer were a great match. Buddha has always been the submissive, calm male in the pair. He is sensitive, and sometimes timid, but appreciates a gentle touch and to be snuggled with a treat. Despite Buddha’s sensitive demeanor, he will happily work for a pea flake, learn tricks, and even escape from his play pen when given the chance!
We can meet within 1 hour of Minneapolis or Lakeville, MN for adoptions. Potentially further- please inquire and we can discuss!
