My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Xanthi is an adorable girl who has been waiting to find a true family who understands her breed's needs and gives her time and space to bloom into the wonderful companion she is.

Xanthi is curious and a great explorer. She loves sniffaris and new places to go on exciting adventures. And she is also a cuddle bug and mellow when she is home.

She will love to stay close to you, to sleep on the bed and play with her favorite chew toys when you are a little busy to play with her.

She is food motivated and a quick learner, but would rather decompress before engaging in any activity requiring her focus and attention.

She is overall a balanced dog, with a contagious positive vibe and a pleasing nature.

Xanthi may ocassionaly bark at passer-byes or certain dogs to alert you of their presence and let you know she may need space, but can be easily redirected. A long lead and a ball are her absolute dream and she will happily go on trails and hikes and stick with you through any fun activities you have planned any given day!

She is not extremely high energy, but would need someone who has the commitment and patience to show her the world and all it has to offer.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Please read carefully before applying. At Juno's Den, the priority is to find homes able, willing and committed to meet our dogs needs.

2.

Interview

If meeting our dog's needs requires to make sacrifices or modify your lifestyle or not all family members are on board, please do not apply.

3.

Home Check

Owning a home with a yard may be the best for some dogs. We don't base our decision on potential adopters having a yard. Depends on the dog.

4.

Approve Application

An approved application may or may not be for the dog you applied for if we believe there is a better match for your family.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

6.

Pay Fee

Adoption fee is $550 + $150-$200 (transport fee)

7.

Take the Pet Home

We approved you to adopt one of our dogs. If for any reason you cannot keep our dog, any other potential adopter needs to be approved by us.

Additional adoption info

We require an official ID, at least 3 references and current/prospective veterinary information.

One of our requirements is to periodically be in contact after the adoption and throughout your dog's life.

Our process is very thorough and we do not offer meet and greets at this time.

If after reviewing your application, we believe one of our dogs is a good fit for your family, we will be in touch for an interview.

Thank you
