My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maverick is a good boy! He was once owned but had survived on the streets for many months before he was rescued, neutered, and vaccinated. Unfortunately, he tested positive for FIV. But he can still have a very long, normal life as long as he is kept indoors only.
Mav was cautious of his foster humans at first but he has settled in quite nicely. He uses the litter box like a champ, destroys catnip toys and likes to be brushed. He has a sweet personality that still seems to be emerging as time goes on and trust continues to build. He is a bit frightened of the gentle dog in his foster home so he will appreciate a dog-free household. He has not encountered other cats in his foster home, but he might do well with a cat-friendly cat with a slow and thoughtful introduction. If you want to meet this gorgeous boy, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.
