Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
In Greek mythology, Poseidon presided over the sea, so it may seem like a bit of an odd name for a dog living smack in the middle of the dry desert. Let’s not get hung up on the details though- let’s just appreciate this handsome pooch in all his glory!! Poseidon lived in one home his whole life before being surrendered to the shelter. He was housebroken in that home, well- behaved on walks, likes car rides, enjoys going on hikes, and loves to be near his humans. Here’s what his friends at the shelter have said:
“I adore Poseidon This little nugget is small in stature but tall in personality! Poseidon is so grateful to get out of kennel and it shows with all his smiles, cuddles, and love. Poseidon enjoys a roll in the grass and does the most adorable army crawl to show his delight. Please consider meeting this fun fella.”
“Poseidon was very excited to get out of his kennel but sat nicely for leashing. He likes sniffing, knows sit, takes treats gently, and likes getting petted. He absolutely loves, loves, loves rolling in the grass and also does a bit of an army crawl. Great boy!”
Poseidon is looking for a home without cats or small dogs and will likely do best in a home without young kiddos. He has been independent and easygoing when meeting other similarly- sized dogs in playgroup at the shelter and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Poseidon today!
