Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Debo is a very handsome, happy middle- aged boy who is past all those pesky puppy shenanigans but still has plenty of energy to join you on all your adventures! Volunteers have found this boy to be fun, companionable, and great company. He loves his daily walks and is just waiting to meet his forever family. Here’s what some of his friends have said:
“Debo was an absolute pleasure to walk tonight! He was easy to leash up and gave a nice sit upon exiting. He paid no attention to the other dogs barking and instead beelined to the door. Upon opening the gate, he surprised me by offering a sit that I did not have to ask for and looked up at me in anticipation. On our walk he enjoyed the smells, alternating between loose leash walking and occasional frolicking and he would trot back to my side and check in. As we made our way back inside, he surprised me again by offering another unrequested sit at the gate. Debo checked in and offered sits so often that I could tell someone had been working with him and it has really stuck! It was impressive and refreshing to see how obedient and attentive he was.”
“Debo has been at PACC way too long for such a good boy to call the shelter home. This boy adores his scratches! His fur is so soft it was my pleasure to shower him with scratches. And treats? Yes please! Treats seem to be a favorite of his and he takes them with such a gentle mouth. If you are looking for a mature (but not too old) dog who is done with the puppy phase, Debo is your guy. He still has a lot of energy and is a great walking partner. He is just an all-around great dog you must take a moment to meet him!”
Debo has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup; he’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Debo today!!
