Meet Lucky!

Age: Approximately 3 years
Breed: Half German Shepherd / Half Collie (speculated)

Lucky is a calm, sweet girl who loves to be surrounded by the people she cares about. A true “velcro dog,” she thrives on companionship and will happily follow her favorite humans everywhere. Whether you`re relaxing at home or out on an adventure, Lucky will be right there by your side.

This lovely lady is friendly with both humans and other dogs. She`s well-behaved and eager to please, having mastered several commands like “sit,” “down,” “spin,” and “shake.” Lucky is also crate-trained, potty-trained, and enjoys playing fetch with her favorite toys. She’s a fan of car rides too, always ready to hop in and go for a ride!

Lucky was with a wonderful foster family from June 2024 to January 2025, but due to a change in their job situation, they are no longer able to continue fostering. Now, Lucky is hoping to find her forever home where she can bring joy, love, and loyalty.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
ADOPTIONS MUST BE MADE IN PERSON at Fort Worth Chuck Silcox Animal Care and Control OR the specified PetSmart location. Please refer to the pet you are interested by their animal ID number; not their stated name. Adopters will be asked to complete an adoption application and provide valid ID showing that they are at least 18 years old.
The adoption fee is $49.00 for dogs and $25.00 for cats. The fee includes vaccinations, a city license, spay/neuter, a microchip and a heartworm test. The shelter will not release the adopted pet until after it has provided these services. Exceptions may be granted due to age, health or injury.
